Heat reflective polycarbonate roofing

Astrolite by Laserlite is a general all purpose polycarbonate sheet intended for multiple uses around your home. Astrolite can be used to cover your pergola, as a skylight, for a shed, or in any use that you might need. Astrolite is available in the classic corrugated roma profile, and in clear as well as bronze and grey tints. Astrolite provides a great deal of light and transparency compared to other polycarbonate roofing products, so it’s a perfect roof sheet if you are looking to maintain a high level of light under your pergola. Astrolite roof sheets provide you with 99.9% UV protection, so although you will get a lot of light below the sheets, you won’t be damaged by the sun’s UV rays. In addition, Astrolite comes with a 7 year builders warranty.

With our many years of experience recommending roof sheeting at Softwoods, we would recommend Astrolite roofing sheets in instances where you are looking to get a lot of light into an area. If your pergola is shaded by a large tree in your yard for example, Astrolite is a perfect roof sheet for you because it will provide you with great amounts of light and not heat up too much. However if the area under your pergola is exposed to direct sunlight, we would recommend the use of a heat reflective sheet such as Laserlite 2000+ or Laserlite 3000 which will keep the area under your pergola from heating up too much.
