Impress your clients with professional images to accompany your quotes

Once you’ve given us your clients’ measurements and we’ve used our exclusive engineering software to design the structure, we’ll print (or email) a professional system-generated perspective drawing you can present to your client. The best bit? This is a free service for Softwoods trade customers, and we don’t even need to know your client’s details (at this point).

Accurate take-offs, plans & pricing

Provide us with measurements and we’ll use our exclusive web-based design system to draw 3D plans and take-offs – complete with pricing – for your entire project. It’s quick, easy, reliable, and will literally save you hours. What’s more, it’s exclusive to approved Softwoods trade customers.

Hassle-free council approval

Softwoods can handle your council approval if you need us to, which means we’ll create the plans, complete the application and submit it on your behalf. We will even follow it up and deal with any issues that arise throughout the process – saving you time and energy. You also have the option of submitting your own Council applications if you’d like. If the structure has a gable roof we have specific engineering that will need to be submitted by us on your behalf.

We stock a huge range of sizes, varieties (Merbau, Kapur, premium treated pine, Jarrah, Spotted Gum, Tallowwood, Blackbutt, Ironwood, ACQ treated pine and more) and lengths, as well as Australian and ethically-sourced imported hardwoods. All of our range comes in a wide array of widths and lengths and if you’re after anything we don’t have in stock, we’ll get it for you – and guarantee a terrific price.

Since screening is more prone to weather and ageing than most pergolas and decks, it’s important it’s made of quality materials. With that in mind, we’ve developed our range of screening materials in a wide array of sizes and varieties to suit any project, and we have a framing service to save you time on-site if desired.

All of our stores have been designed to make it easy for you to drive in, pick up what you need and drive out. We know your time is valuable, so we’ve created the most streamlined experience we can – no delays loading up, and no need to lift any timber over distances.

Complete pre-cut gable kits available

Our design system enables us to fully pre-cut gabled structures. If you provide us with precise measurements, we’ll cut every piece of the structure’s timber to an exact length and angle (except for post lengths), saving you time on site, and helping you build your structures with a minimum of fuss – and perfect results – every time.
